It is up to you to determine what happened, and fix it.
The game mixes typical FPS gameplay with RPG elements.
You are inside a giant mech that can transform into a shape fit for walking, driving, and a mixture of both.
You can move square-by-square, with 90-degree turns, slide left or right, and look up and down.
By defeating enemies, the invisible RPG elements are introduced: you have hit points, energy points, and you can collect weapons and items.
When an enemy approaches, this is shown through an icon, along with the distance.
The environment is claustrophobic and maze-like, and includes many enemies.
The game features an unusually large amount of plot for a game of this type, mostly consisting of conversations between your teammates, who are always in other parts of the station.
About Sega Dreamcast
Sega's final console, the Dreamcast (1998/1999), was ahead of its time with built-in internet connectivity and an influential library, but a short commercial lifespan cut its game catalog short. That abrupt end means Dreamcast print runs were smaller across the board than a longer-lived console would have had, and it's now one of the more actively collected fifth/sixth-generation systems specifically because of that scarcity.
Gamevaro tracks Space Griffon for Sega Dreamcast with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Space Griffon to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This DC release dates back to 1999.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Space Griffon has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
