Twinkle Star Sprites
Sega Dreamcast · 2000
About this game
Sequel to Twinkle Star Sprites , La Petite Princesse brings back the gang of flying heroes and villains that battle each other in search of the fabled Twinkle Star, said to grant any wish to the one that finds it.
The game plays as a competitive vertically-scrolling shooter, in which two players face off in separated play areas and try to shoot and evade the incoming enemies.

Blasting said enemies in succession causes a special attack to be launched towards the opposing player, which is based on the character you selected and ranges from meager fireballs to bosses and targeted attacks depending on your power level and the amount of combos you pull off.
The game uses completely polygonal graphics, and features a story mode, which centers around the adventures of the young witch Time, an arcade mode in which you freely select which character to use, and of course, a 2-player Vs mode and support for online multiplayer.
Also included is an unlockable version of the original game .
About Sega Dreamcast
Sega's final console, the Dreamcast (1998/1999), was ahead of its time with built-in internet connectivity and an influential library, but a short commercial lifespan cut its game catalog short. That abrupt end means Dreamcast print runs were smaller across the board than a longer-lived console would have had, and it's now one of the more actively collected fifth/sixth-generation systems specifically because of that scarcity.
Gamevaro tracks Twinkle Star Sprites for Sega Dreamcast with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Twinkle Star Sprites to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This DC release dates back to 2000.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Twinkle Star Sprites has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
