Logic Puzzle Rainbow Town
Sega Saturn · 1996
About this game
Logic Puzzle Rainbow Town is a digital version of the classic nonogram style puzzles, in which the player must use numerical clues to deduce the arrangement of squares on a grid and create a picture.
The game features three types of puzzles: Monochrome puzzles use only a single color, Color puzzles use multiple colors, and Rainbow puzzles use three single-color layers -- red, blue, and yellow -- which overlay to form a full color image.

Puzzle sizes range from 5x5 all the way up to 30x30.
The game map is made up of numerous locations, each of which represents a building in the titular Rainbow Town and contains a set of puzzles.
Each building, such a concert hall, insect museum, or game development studio, contains puzzles in multiple sizes themed to that location; the concert hall for instance has puzzles that look like musical instruments, while the game studio has puzzles representing other Human-developed games.
As the player completes more puzzles in a location, that building develops and gets larger and more extravagant; the goal is to clear all the puzzles and bring each building to maximum development.
There is also an edit mode where custom puzzles can be made and saved.
About Sega Saturn
The Sega Saturn (1994/1995) struggled commercially against the PlayStation despite strong 2D capabilities and a library beloved by shoot-'em-up and RPG fans. Its relatively low sales translated directly into low print runs for many games, making the Saturn one of the more expensive retro platforms to collect completely — several titles now sell for hundreds of euros in good condition.
Gamevaro tracks Logic Puzzle Rainbow Town for Sega Saturn with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Logic Puzzle Rainbow Town to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This SAT release dates back to 1996.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Logic Puzzle Rainbow Town has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
