Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors
Nintendo Wii · 2008
About this game
The long running Dragon Quest series' Wii debut takes place in the land of Avalonia and is an 'on rails' shooter, that utilizes the Wii Remote as sword and shield.
The game's protagonist is a sixteen year old boy named by the player who is about to take the Walk of the Worthy an initiation rite of passage into manhood.

The player's character is son of Claymore, a hero who helped defeat a great threat to Avalonia at the cost of his right arm.
Two other characters assist the player throughout the adventure, Fleurette and Alance.
Incidentally all three of the NPCs are named after swords.
The player sets their level of participation, mainly though how often they cast magic.
The player only uses standard physical attacks and a "Master Stroke" special attack when their power meter is full.
The game is a true Rail Shooter style, with monsters appearing in the same positions each play through.
About Nintendo Wii
Launched in 2006, the Wii's motion controls (Wii Remote) brought casual and non-traditional players into console gaming at a scale no prior system had achieved, making it one of the best-selling consoles ever. Because so many Wii units sold with bundled software like Wii Sports, the bulk of the library is inexpensive to collect — but it also means truly rare Wii titles (often niche Japanese-only releases) stand out sharply from the norm.
Gamevaro tracks Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors for Nintendo Wii with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This WII release dates back to 2008.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Nintendo Wii titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
