The spell of Ahkmenrah's magic tablet has brought the inanimate exhibits of the Smithsonian to life, and Larry must restore order to the chaotic museum.
Players control Larry Daley (Stiller), who must retrieve the tablet of Ahkmenrah from the clutches of the evil Kahmunrah.
While basic movement mechanics (running, jumping, climbing) are used, major gameplay mechanics focus on the use of Larry's "ritual tools of office", his keychain and flashlight.
These items are enhanced by the power of Ahkmenrah's tablet, which gives Larry new abilities.
With the enhanced keychain, Larry can climb to greater heights, swing across wide gaps, and swing the chain quickly to create a shield.
The enhanced flashlight will allow Larry to empower mechanical devices, repair broken objects, tame wild animals, and even summon lightning.
Players will use these abilities to complete objectives across multiple museums.
About Nintendo Wii
Launched in 2006, the Wii's motion controls (Wii Remote) brought casual and non-traditional players into console gaming at a scale no prior system had achieved, making it one of the best-selling consoles ever. Because so many Wii units sold with bundled software like Wii Sports, the bulk of the library is inexpensive to collect — but it also means truly rare Wii titles (often niche Japanese-only releases) stand out sharply from the norm.
Gamevaro tracks Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian for Nintendo Wii with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This WII release dates back to 2009.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Nintendo Wii titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
