Raguna investigates for her and discovers that the mysterious whale shaped island over the village not only can speak but is in danger of falling and destroying Trampoli.
Now Raguna must solve the mysteries of Whale Island as well as explore Trampoli's dungeons to find a solution to the danger that plagues the village.
Rune Factory Frontier was the first of the series to be released on the Wii.
Much like its Nintendo DS counterparts, you own a farm, can grow crops, befriend villagers, get married and fight in dungeons.
One major difference in Frontier compared to the previous games is the introduction of the Runey system, a mini-ecosystem you must manage that can either help or hurt crop growth.
This particular game reprises many familiar faces from the first game on the DS, including Mist, Rosetta, Melody, and Lara.
However, there are also many new bachelorettes for you to choose from.
Another feature added with this game are the animated cutscenes for events and first meetings with the girls.
While there is voice acting in this game, not every line of dialogue is done.
About Nintendo Wii
Launched in 2006, the Wii's motion controls (Wii Remote) brought casual and non-traditional players into console gaming at a scale no prior system had achieved, making it one of the best-selling consoles ever. Because so many Wii units sold with bundled software like Wii Sports, the bulk of the library is inexpensive to collect — but it also means truly rare Wii titles (often niche Japanese-only releases) stand out sharply from the norm.
Gamevaro tracks Rune Factory: Frontier for Nintendo Wii with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Rune Factory: Frontier to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This WII release dates back to 2009.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Rune Factory: Frontier has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
