Gameplay returns to the 2-on-2 format defined by X-Men vs.
Street Fighter , and like other vs. games features a fast-moving, over-the-top fighting style with a heavy focus on aerial combos.
Adopting the simplified controls of the "anime fighters" that were gaining popularity at the time, it features four buttons: weak, medium, and strong attacks, and assist.
As in the Marvel vs. games, the assist button can be used both to call in the character's ally for an assist attack or to swap characters during battles.
Normal attacks can be chained together, and each character features a launcher attack which can be used to knock the opponent into the air in order to start aerial combos.
Unique to this game are two enormous robot characters (Gold Lightan and PTX-40A), who take up the majority of a screen and who must be played solo.
There are 22 playable characters, alongside the unplayable boss Yami from Okami .
These characters are: Tatsunoko side: Casshern ( Casshern , a.k.a.
Casshan ) Doronjo ( Yatterman ) Gold Lightan ( Golden Warrior Gold Lightan ) Hakushon Daimaoh ( Hakushon Daimaoh , a.k.a.

About Nintendo Wii
Launched in 2006, the Wii's motion controls (Wii Remote) brought casual and non-traditional players into console gaming at a scale no prior system had achieved, making it one of the best-selling consoles ever. Because so many Wii units sold with bundled software like Wii Sports, the bulk of the library is inexpensive to collect — but it also means truly rare Wii titles (often niche Japanese-only releases) stand out sharply from the norm.
Gamevaro tracks Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes for Nintendo Wii with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This WII release dates back to 2008.
