Like its predecessor, it is an adult visual novel where the player's decisions determine the outcome of the story.
It has updated graphics and full voice acting for all characters, but lacks the original game's sexual content.
Like the original game, the story follows a boy who awakens as a prisoner of a shadowy organization with no memories of his past.
His captors introduce themselves as members of Inferno, an international syndicate of the world's most ruthless assassins.
Seeing potential in the boy, Inferno offers him the choice to be trained in the art of killing and join their ranks, or to die then and there.
After the boy, who henceforth becomes known as "Zwei", begins his training, he learns that killing is not as straightforward as it sounds, and experiences romance and betrayal as he moves through Inferno's ranks and uncovers his true identity.
About Xbox 360
Microsoft's second console, the Xbox 360 (2005), is remembered for popularizing online multiplayer through Xbox Live and for a notoriously high hardware failure rate (the "Red Ring of Death") — which ironically makes well-preserved, working units and complete game cases more collectible today. Physical 360 games are still generally affordable, though limited Kinect-era peripherals and bundles are becoming harder to find complete.
Gamevaro tracks Phantom of Inferno for Xbox 360 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Phantom of Inferno to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This X360 release dates back to 2000.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Phantom of Inferno, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Xbox 360 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
