About this game

Storm in a Teacup is a platform game where the player controls a boy called Storm who moves around in a flying teacup.

The objective of each level is to collect as many sugar cubes as possible before reaching a target that marks the exit.

There are also special stickers to collect that are usually harder to reach.

Various enemies, obstacles and pitfalls will get in his way and any contact with these will send him back to the start of the level or the last checkpoint.

The teapot has its own inertia making the movement different from other platform games.

Tapping a button sends it up in the air and tapping it repeatedly allow it to go higher.

Each tap costs energy though and when out of energy the player has to wait for a brief moment until it recharges.

There are some puzzles, from simple ones where a key has to be collected to more advanced, physics based ones.

The main game consists of 40 levels and by making progress through these additional survival levels can be unlocked.

Survival levels simply involve staying alive as long as possible and collect the most sugar cubes during that time.

It is also possible to unlock various customization options for the player character by collecting stickers.

About Xbox One

Microsoft's Xbox One launched in 2013 alongside the PS4 and leaned heavily into backwards compatibility and subscription services like Game Pass. Because so many Xbox One owners moved to all-digital libraries, physical Xbox One cartridges — sorry, discs — in good condition are comparatively less common on the secondhand market than their PlayStation equivalents from the same era.

Gamevaro tracks Teacup for Xbox One with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Teacup to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This XONE release dates back to 2021.

Rarity & condition

Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Teacup, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Xbox One titles.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
