About this game
In this game the player takes the role of Boog, a domesticated bear who tries to return to the civilization after being released in a nearby forest due to an unfortunate misadventure, and Elliot, a crazy, one-horned deer who desires to be Boog's partner.
In order to achieve his goal, Boog will have to prove himself to the creatures of the forest by helping them to get rid of the hunters.

By gaining their respect, Boog will be able to convince the creatures to help him reach his hometown.
Open Season is a third-person view action game based on Sony Animation Studios' first movie.
The player controls the main character in the forest and uses the different forest creatures to resolve simple puzzles (considering the target age for the game) by throwing them.
The player can collect "achievement points" (not related to the Xbox 360 Achievement points) that will unlock new abilities for Boog.
About Xbox
Microsoft's original Xbox (2001) marked the company's first console and stood out for its built-in hard drive and Xbox Live service, which laid the groundwork for modern online console gaming. Original Xbox discs are prone to wear, so complete, undamaged copies — especially of the system's more niche or Japan-only titles — are less common than the console's overall sales figures might suggest.
Gamevaro tracks Open Season for Xbox with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Open Season to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This XBOX release dates back to 2006.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Open Season has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
