He is equipped with a ray gun and a jetpack.
The jetpack allows him to reach great heights, but burns fuel rapidly - firing it only in short bursts is advised to cross larger gaps; it recharges when landing on solid ground.
Enemies can be dispatched by jumping on top of them or firing the ray gun at them, even though it fires in a rather ridiculous arc.
Killing opponents gives points, which can be spent to change the standard gun to more advanced models featuring rapid fire, laser blasts, bouncing bullets, and more.
Lost health points can be recharged by finding heart icons or by spending points.
In some parts of the game, Daffy steps on a flying sled and must evade Marvin, always close on his tail.
The game also features several boss battles against Marvin, his dog K-9 and other spacey creatures.
About Game Boy Color
The Game Boy Color (1998) added a color screen to the original Game Boy formula while remaining backwards compatible with the entire existing cartridge library. Its colorful, semi-transparent cartridge shells make it a visually distinct platform for shelf collectors, and several late-cycle exclusives — released just before the Game Boy Advance took over — are notably harder to find complete today.
Gamevaro tracks Daffy Duck for Game Boy Color with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Daffy Duck to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This GBC release dates back to 1999.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Daffy Duck has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
