Other customisable options include "Lake Conditions" (lake location, season, weather, time, etc.), "Boat" (boat model, engine, etc.) and "Tackle" (rod/reel, line, lure, etc.).
These following are the modes of play: Exhibition - the only mode where every customisation option is available.
The objective is to catch up to a certain number of fish and the sum of their weight to equal or surpass the weight that is mentioned in the beginning of the game.
Tournament - there are 6 tournaments the player must compete in and each tournament lasts for 3 days.
Fishing lasts until the day is over, when the total weight of fish caught is counted and depending on how well they did, the equivalent rank is given.
If at the end of the last tournament the player manages to rank 5th or better, new equipment or boats are unlocked.
Speed Fishing - in this mode, the player is given a time limit of 3 minutes and must catch as more of the fish mentioned in the overview as possible.
Time is extended by one or more seconds depending on how much the fish weighs and the objective is to fish for as long as possible.
Casting Game - the player must cast the line at certain spots on the lake which are specified by colored circles, within the time limit.
For each target the player manages to hit, they receive points and if the earned score is high enough, they get additional time and the patterns in which the targets appear change.
About Nintendo 64
The Nintendo 64 (1996) stuck with cartridges after most competitors moved to CDs, trading longer load times for near-instant game access and durability that's held up well over nearly three decades. N64 cartridges are largely intact and functional today, and while common titles are affordable, several late-release and multiplayer-focused games with smaller print runs have become firmly established as valuable collector pieces.
Gamevaro tracks Bassmasters 2000 for Nintendo 64 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Bassmasters 2000 to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This N64 release dates back to 1999.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Bassmasters 2000, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Nintendo 64 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
