The population of Miis cohabiting the city are either friends you collected by entering their friend codes, or randomly generated characters courtesy of the computer.

Fortunately, the game allows easy transfer of all your friend Miis from the Wii to your Nintendo DS.

The object of the game is to simply live your virtual life.

The game encourages you to make new friends and rewards each friend collected with new gifts and accessories like clothes, foods, and other special items that can be traded.

The Miis can wander around having fun or stick to a routine of everyday tasks and errands.

Completing tasks can earn money and open up new facilities for the player to interact with.

Tomodachi Collection follows several calendar holidays, and additionally also has many special events like concerts, karaoke concerts, and gatherings.

About Nintendo 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS (2011) added glasses-free stereoscopic 3D and a second analog input to Nintendo's handheld line, eventually building a library that rivaled the DS in size and quality. Because the eShop for digital purchases has since closed, physical 3DS cartridges are the only way to preserve access to many titles — a dynamic that's pushing more collectors toward cartridge-based copies even for games that were originally digital-first.

Gamevaro tracks Tomodachi Collection for Nintendo 3DS with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Tomodachi Collection to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically.

Condition matters a lot for collector value: loose (cartridge/disc only), complete-in-box (CIB, with original packaging and manual) and factory-sealed copies are tracked separately because the price gap between them can be significant, especially for older releases.
